Preparing For Your Installation

Residential installations are scheduled between 8:00 am and 8:30 am. Below you will find the steps to prepare your home for your carpet, rug or LVT installation.

Furniture

  • Furniture must be cleared of all breakables and electronics. This includes, lamps, decorations, tvs, computers, etc.

  • Bookshelves must have all books and breakables removed

  • Dresser drawers should either be removed or emptied

  • Electronics must be be disconnected prior to installation by the homeowner

  • Large furniture such as pianos and mechanical beds will incur an additional fee

Bedroom Installations

  • All bedding should be removed from the bed

  • Beds will be disassembled and reassembled as needed with the exception of waterbeds, loft beds, platform beds, mechanical beds and beds with attached nightstands.

  • Closet areas must be completely clear of any items on the floor. Lower level racks should be cleared as well.

Manufacture Guidelines for Installation

Our Installation team does it’s best to minimize the appearance of seams. However, please know that there is no such thing as an “invisible seam” in carpet or vinyl. Flatweaves, Sisals and Wiltons can be especially difficult to seam.
